I am a published scientist with doctorate and a BSc. I have studied grammar and style for many years and I have worked as a freelance editor for various clients and agencies since 2004.
I am perfectly happy to deal with clients worldwide. I am based in Australia, which means that I work on documents when many of my clients in America and Europe are still asleep.
I am completely at home with the rules of all the major versions of English (American, UK, Australian and others) and the primary style guides in each of those domains. I have considerable knowledge of the appropriate 'voice' for different writing purposes.
It is my belief that the relationship between a writer and an editor is one that matures over time. As we get to know each other the value of our collaboration will grow and grow. My policy is to have a limited and exclusive client list, and I am currently open to new clients. Send me a sample of your writing so that you can assess my work for yourself.
